Aims of the Association are the promotion of scientific psychological research, the development of a high level of scientific and professional work, the establishment of the profession of Psychologist, the development of professional activities in various fields of social life. To achieve these aims, the AGP promotes the maintenance of the professional ethics and scientific conscience of the members of the association. Furthermore, AGP supports the organisation of seminars, conferences, workshops, research projects related to psychology or psychosocial care. Additionally, it promotes psychosocial care in all areas related to psychological needs of the population. For example, AGP is actively involved in dealing with social problems and disaster situations (e.g., earthquakes).

HOW THE ORGANISATION WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF THE PROJECT RESULTS

The Association of Greek Psychologists can organise some scientific events for the promotion of the purpose of the Psych.E.In project. Because the members of the AGP are involved in different settings and sectors of the public health system, it can help in disseminating information concerning Psych.E.In project’s aims.
