The VET trainers involved are psychologists and most of them are also psychotherapists and work in the military field. Many of them have had experience in emergency psychology, especially in foreign missions or in occasion of natural disasters in Italy.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION

The main purpose of the Italian Association of Military Psychology is to promote the health and psychological well-being of the individual, family, organizations and communities, with particular reference to the military field, as referring to the Armed Forces, the Police Forces and to the Corps, armed and unarmed, who wear uniforms. The spirit and practice of the Association conform to the principles of the Italian Constitution and are based on full respect for the human, spiritual and cultural dimension of the person. The Association is non-party and will adhere to the following principles: absence of profit, democracy (of the structure and electivity of corporate offices), solidarity and pluralism.

HOW THE ORGANISATION WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF THE PROJECT RESULTS

The Italian Association of Military Psychology intends to disseminate the results of the project through conferences, meetings or web-conferences in which about 100 people can be involved; moreover, by putting the results into practice during emergency interventions
