BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION

The Hellenic Association of Therapeutic Community, Sociotherapy and Psychodrama, was founded in 1997 in Athens with the aim of cultivating, promoting and advancing the application of Therapeutic Community's principles, group dynamics and Psychodramatic techniques in various fields. More specifically, the Association actively contributes to the improvement of mental health and the services provided in the fields of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation, the dissemination and promotion of the principles and methods which ensure conditions of treatment, training and communication and exclude any violation of human dignity.
The Association promotes the cultivation, development and maintenance of a high level of professional ethics and scientific training among its members by establishing standards and ensure that the ethical principles of psychotherapists are applied. The members of the Association are obliged to promote activity, responsibility and active learning in accordance with the basic principles of social dynamics and community.
The association promotes research and fosters communication between professional psychotherapists through the participation in scientific activities both in Greece and abroad. In order to achieve all the above, it organizes scientific lectures, seminars and conferences, both nationally and internationally, and cooperates with other organizations and associations that have similar or related activities.

HOW THE ORGANISATION WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF THE PROJECT RESULTS

The members of the Hellenic Association of TC, Sociotherapy and Psychodrama will participate in the scientific events organized by the Psychological Early Intervention project and they will also advertize the specific activities.
