BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION

The centre offers professional assistance and support for people in emotional crisis, mental health, after trauma, family and developmental problems. Training and internships for selected professional groups are provided. In terms of intervention and individual psychotherapy, the institution focuses on treating emotional disorders, changing the patient’s dysfunctional behaviour or maladaptive beliefs. Crisis intervention is aimed at helping the person to return to the good functioning that existed before the crisis occurred. Crisis intervention services/interventions and psychotherapeutic assistance are provided by well-trained therapists. The high quality of the therapeutic assistance is maintained and improved through in-team super-vision activities, as well as training of the whole team (including super-vision sessions, so-called external - in the best Centres in Poland). The Centre offers help to recover from crises, to improve communication between family members. Problems reported by families and couples are related to, among other things, marital crises (difficulties in communication, marital infidelity), eating disorders (bulimia, anorexia) or other parenting problems with children in adolescence
